Beauty And The Cow

            Beauty And The Cow

Once upon a time there was a little girl called Belle.
She loved gymnastics and could do a lot of moves but as her town frowned upon bendy folk she could never do it in public.
One day her father said that he was going to sell the crops that they had planted and as usual Belle asked for a rose like the one in the painting of her and her mother before she died and as usual he went away but something UNUSUAL happened!
As Belle’s father crossed the bridge he ran into a teapot it had come for a walk with her teacup, Chip, then they noticed that he was on their masters land so they kidnapped him and took him to their masters castle then they tied him up and interrogated him.
Back at the village Belle noticed her father was missing and went to find him she was lead down the same path as her father and saw him up in the castle she ran in and shrieked at the ruler to let him go but then she realised that she had been shrieking at his mannequin  and she was shocked to find the real ruler because he was a cow (which was also very bendy). The teapot knew they were destined to fall in love like the fairy tale but boy was she wrong!
They realised that they were destined to be ninjas!
They started a full ninja team duo they defeated bad guys using gymnastics!

The end.

Arahura Marae

On Tuesday 7th August Rata 5,Totara 2,Te Hiringa and Mamaku 2 went to Arahura Marae in Hokitika.
This was a very interesting experience and most kids never had been to a Marae so most kids didn't know what was in store!
We went by van,car and bus, when we got there we lined up with girls in the front and the boys in the back because of a tradition if they were attacked the boys would protect the girls.
When we were in the Marae we sat down on rows of chairs(the boys were in the front)We did greetings and a hungi then it was almost time for kai.(food)
Once we had finished kai we went back into the Marae for Mihi's(introducing yourself in Maori)then we listened to the stories about the chiefs.
Took the photo and went back to school.
I would give the Marae 100% great!!!
