Area And Perimeter
Today's activity was to make a google jam board on area and perimeter. We had to choose 3 shapes and give them the same area but different perimeters and same with the same perimeter but different area. We then had to explain why the reason behind this. This is mine,I hope you enjoy :)
Classroom Measurements
One of the maths investigations we had to do this week was our classrooms measurement task. A few kids went around helping to measure everything. We had to make a basic map of the classroom, which only included the tables and the area of the class. Here is mine,I hope you enjoy :)
Vocab-Reservoir
This mornings activity was making a google drawing about a vocab word of our choice. We got a choice of about 6 words and me and my friend Zoe chose the word 'reservoir'. Here is our drawing about it along with a few facts. I hope you enjoy.

Hanmer Springs Map
This year Totara's camp destination is Hanmer Springs. We will be doing a handful of activities there such as going to the hot pools, sports and games. Our task was to create a map with attractions on the way to Hanmer Springs. This is mine and I hope you enjoy :)
Others in my world
Since yesterday we worked on an inquiry activity called "Others in our world". Basically what we had to do was write down people's who are important or make an impact in our lives and why we value them and they value us. The bolder lines mean they have more of an impact and thinner lines mean they only have a small impact. The dotted people are who I don't see very much due to being school hours or living away. I hope you enjoy :)
Today one of our maths activities was to do a 1 meter challenge. For said challenge we had 1 sheet of A-4 paper and had to draw connecting lines and make them as close to a meter as possible. I got mine to approximately 99.3 cm. My friend Zoe's line was 1.14 m. This is my line.
Today my group (me,Zoe and Dean) did some tests. We had to drop a ruler for the other person and measure the time and what number we caught it on. This is the information we got about the fastest reaction time, I hope you enjoy.
