Diamante Poems
Last week we did Diamante poems. These are poems shaped as a diamond and merge from one thing to another (e.g: Winter to Summer, pen to pencil).
These are a couple of mine, I hope you enjoy. :)
Dusk
Dark, mysterious
Troubling, hair raising, mystifying
Glassy, unseeing, wondrous, bright
Looking, unnerving , awakening
Quiet, light
Dawn
Autumn
Orange, bald
Walking, falling, crinkling
Leaves, clouds, flowers, sun
Blossoming, re-growing, brightening
Bright, blue
Spring
Hi Abbie,
ReplyDeleteGreat poems! I really like the vocabulary choices you have made to create a picture in your reader's mind. Bald is definitely an original and interesting way to describe the trees in autumn.
Next time you could include graphics with your poetry to enhance the meaning.
Keep up the good writing,
Mrs P
