Rose Rivers Book Review

Rose Rivers Book Review.

Rose Rivers is a book from Jacqueline Wilson, she is one of my favourite authors.
Rose Rivers is about a girl from the mid or late 1800's!She hates being a girl as girls are supposed to be content staying at home.she has 6 siblings, and is a twin! She finds her twin brother Rupert very lucky because he gets to go to boarding school and everyone thinks he is so much more mature.

She then makes 2 new friend none which are considered suitable! The new nursery maid,Clover Moon and her papa's friend Paris!
I would recommend this book for children 10 and up!

  1. Kia ora Abbie, Thanks for sharing your understanding of this novel in a way which will encourage others to read it. It is interesting to hear a child's feelings about the attitiudes towards girl/boy roles in a former era, because we mainly hear it from an adult's perspective. It is great to have lots of books by a favourite author.
